Description

Product Overview

OLYCRAFT’s 12‑piece cat litter box replacement filter set is engineered to provide consistent odor control and air purification for indoor feline environments. Each filter is crafted from premium coconut‑shell activated charcoal, a natural material known for its high adsorption capacity and safety for pets and humans alike. The round cartridges measure approximately 5.9 inches in diameter and 0.39 inches in thickness, offering a generous surface area while remaining slim enough to fit discreetly under the Dome litter box lid. The filters are pre‑cut to exact dimensions, eliminating the need for any trimming or modification during installation. With a lightweight construction of just 15.7 ounces for the entire pack, the set is easy to handle and store. The product dimensions of 10.63 × 6.5 × 1.97 inches ensure compact packaging that fits conveniently in most closets or utility spaces. Designed specifically for the Dome Litter Box with Lid, these filters integrate seamlessly into the existing airflow system, enhancing the overall performance of the litter box without requiring additional accessories.

Material Excellence

The activated charcoal used in each filter originates from sustainably harvested coconut shells, a renewable resource that reduces reliance on traditional coal‑based media. This natural source not only provides superior odor‑absorbing properties but also ensures that no harmful chemicals leach into the surrounding environment, making it safe for both pets and household members. Rigorous quality‑control testing verifies that each cartridge meets strict adsorption standards, guaranteeing reliable performance throughout its service life. The charcoal’s porous structure captures ammonia, volatile organic compounds, and other odor‑causing molecules, delivering a noticeable improvement in indoor air quality.

Design Precision

Every filter is engineered with precision tolerances to match the Dome litter box’s airflow pathway. The 5.9‑inch diameter aligns perfectly with the box’s vent opening, while the 0.39‑inch thickness ensures a snug fit that does not obstruct airflow. This exact fit eliminates the common issue of filters shifting or falling out during use, providing a stable and consistent filtration experience. The round shape also distributes airflow evenly across the charcoal surface, maximizing contact time and enhancing odor‑neutralizing efficiency.

Usage

The filters are ideal for everyday use in households with one or multiple cats, as well as in multi‑cat apartments, veterinary clinics, and pet‑friendly offices where maintaining a pleasant scent is essential. Simply lift the Dome litter box lid, remove the old sponge cartridge, and insert a new activated charcoal filter into the designated slot. No tools or adhesives are required, making the replacement process quick and hygienic. Because the charcoal material is derived from coconut shells, it naturally resists bacterial growth, helping to keep the litter area cleaner and reducing the frequency of full litter changes. Users report that the fresh scent persists for up to two weeks, depending on the number of cats and the type of litter used. The filters also work effectively with clumping, crystal, and biodegradable litters, providing versatile compatibility across a range of popular products. For best results, replace the filter every 14‑30 days, or sooner if a strong odor returns.

Practical Tips

To maximize the lifespan of each filter, keep the litter box in a well‑ventilated area and avoid placing it near direct sunlight, which can degrade the charcoal over time. Regularly scoop solid waste and stir the litter to maintain even distribution, allowing the filter to capture odors more efficiently. When installing a new filter, ensure the lid is fully closed to create a sealed environment that directs airflow through the charcoal core. If you notice a decline in odor control before the recommended replacement interval, check for excessive moisture buildup in the litter, as this can overwhelm the filter’s capacity.
