Charcoal Filters Replacement 6 Pack Litter Genie PurifyLogix Carbon

Description

Product Overview

The PurifyLogix 6‑pack charcoal filter set is engineered specifically for the Litter Genie waste disposal system, offering a reliable solution to the common challenge of litter box odors. Each filter is constructed from high‑grade carbon fiber, a material known for its extensive porous structure that captures and neutralizes volatile compounds released by cat waste. The dimensions of each filter—4.3 inches deep, 5.1 inches wide, and just under half an inch thick—ensure a perfect fit within the existing filter compartment, eliminating the need for modifications or additional tools. The filters are lightweight, weighing only 2.39 ounces each, yet they provide a robust barrier against odor migration, making them an ideal choice for households that value both cleanliness and convenience. With a unit count of six, the package is designed to support up to six months of use when replaced on a monthly schedule, aligning with typical cat litter turnover rates. The product carries the PurifyLogix brand, a name recognized for its commitment to pet‑friendly, non‑toxic materials sourced from coconut shells, peat, wood, and sawdust, ensuring safety for both pets and humans.

Usage

These activated carbon filters are intended for everyday use in residential settings, particularly in homes with one or more cats. Installation is straightforward: simply open the Litter Genie, remove the spent filter, and insert a fresh PurifyLogix filter, aligning the tabs to secure it in place. No measuring, cutting, or additional accessories are required, allowing pet owners to maintain odor control with minimal effort. The filters perform optimally when the litter box is kept in a well‑ventilated area, but they also excel in confined spaces such as apartments, condos, or rooms with limited airflow. Because the carbon fiber actively adsorbs odor molecules, the surrounding environment remains fresher, reducing the need for frequent air fresheners or chemical deodorizers. The product is suitable for all standard Litter Genie models, making it a versatile addition to any cat‑owner’s routine. Regular monthly replacement ensures that the adsorption capacity remains at its peak, preventing any decline in performance over time.

FAQ

How often should I replace the charcoal filters?

For optimal odor control, it is recommended to replace each filter once a month. This schedule aligns with the typical rate at which cat litter absorbs moisture and releases odors, ensuring the carbon fiber maintains its maximum adsorption capacity.

Are the filters safe for my cat?

Yes. The filters are made from natural, non‑toxic materials such as coconut shells and wood fibers. They contain no chemicals or additives that could harm cats or humans, making them safe for continuous use in any household.

Will the filters fit all Litter Genie models?

The dimensions of the PurifyLogix filters are designed to match the standard Litter Genie filter compartment. They are compatible with all current Litter Genie models that use the original filter size, providing a seamless replacement experience.

Can I use these filters in other litter box systems?

While the filters are optimized for Litter Genie units, they may also work in other systems that accept similarly sized carbon filters. However, performance cannot be guaranteed if the fit is not exact, so we recommend using them with Litter Genie for best results.

What should I do with the used filters?

After removal, the used filters can be disposed of in regular household waste. Because they contain only activated carbon and natural fibers, they do not require special handling or hazardous waste procedures.
